Cedarwood essential oil, Cedrus atlantica, has a warm, woody smell that blends nicely with other woody oils like vetiver and sandalwood, floral oils such as jasmine and neroli, citrus oils, basil, eucalyptus and chamomile oils. It is a nice addition to a men’s fragrance blend. Use cedarwood to ease respiratory congestion, treat oily skin and scalp problems, and to lift spirits. Cedarwood essential oil is a strong antiseptic, astringent and bug repellent. It is very soothing when used in a steam shower or sauna. Cedarwood essential oil can be used as a scent fixative in soaps and perfumes.
Do not use during pregnancy or on small babies.
