- Bladderwrack - sea kelp
Bladderwrack is a sea kelp powder rich in iodone, vitamin C and calcium; it remineralizes the skin and detoxifies the body, while also encouraging cellular regeneration. Body wraps promote skin elasticity and increase the density of cellular collagen, which results in younger looking skin. A potent moisturizer, it protects the skin and makes it feel velvety soft. - Dulse - neptune's girdle
In the earliest known written record of Dulse it was harvested 1400 years ago by Irish monks. Dulse grows on the ocean floor in the North Atlantic and Northwest Pacific Sea where currents are swift and the waters are very clean. It is rich in iron, potassium, iodine and vitamin B6. In body wraps and masks it has strong emollient properties and helps maintain moisture while drawing out toxins and smoothing the skin to minimize fine lines and wrinkles.
