Camomile, Roman

Roman Chamomile is one of the main essential oils used to calm, comfort and sedate a restless spirit and to help relieve irritated, inflamed skin conditions. It provides a sense of calm and helps to settle the nerves. Roman chamomile is great for insomnia, nervous tension, and stress. In a bath, it will wash away tension after a long day, relax muscles and relieve aches and pains. It has anti-inflammatory properties and is good for the relief of headaches, inflamed joints, arthritis and menstrual cramps. This is a wonderful oil for calming colicky babies when used in a tummy rub.

Due to its sedating properties, avoid use while driving or drinking.
