Vanuatu Sandalwood essential oil is the perfect substitute for Indian Sandalwood because it has a rich, creamy aroma that is similar to a good quality Indian Sandalwood, yet it is stronger and loger lasting (due to he high percentage of santalols in the oil). This species is easier to cultivate than Indian Sandalwood, and the trees abe being grown in plantations and in villages with the goal of providing the island with a sustainable harvest of trees.
